San Diego Summer Home was born out of a necessity to escape the blistering Phoenix summers. My family and I have always cherished San Diego, so after some thought we decided to make it our summer haven.  We began by spending a summer month in our home and rthen enting it out when we weren’t using it.

Initially, the uncertainty was nerve-wracking, but we took the plunge. As time passed, we discovered more ways to make this process work for us. After four successful years of renting out our property and enjoying it whenever we wanted, the San Diego Summer Home concept really took off. 

We developed an excellent system that others could benefit from too.  And now we want to help you with  everything with aquiring a home, setting it up the best way for you, and managing it so you can fully enjoy your vacation home and have peace of mind your vacation home is working for you when you are not enjoying it.

San Diego is the ideal location for a vacation home with its perpetual peak season and nearly perfect weather—especially if you’re an ocean lover like me. Over the years, we’ve crafted various strategies to suit different needs.  Maybe you need to escape the winter and rent it out the rest of the year, or perhaps you prefer to keep it unused by others but need regular check-ins and maintenance.
